PISIDIA. Ariassus. Julia Mamaea, Augusta, 222-235. Tetrassarion (Bronze, 27 mm, 10.33 g, 7 h). IOYΛIA MAMЄA CЄBA Diademed and draped bust of Julia Mamaea to right. Rev. APIACCЄ/ΩN The Dioscuri standing facing one another, each holding spear and bridle of horse; above, star-in-crescent. SNG Paris -. SNG von Aulock -. Von Aulock, Pisidien II, 477 (same dies). Extremely rare, apparently the third known example. An interesting issue with a lovely bluish patina and a very attractive reverse. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
